Discipleship - Bible Reading
Reading your Bible is an extremely important part of the life of a Christian.  It is the primary way that we learn who God is.  And if you don't know anything about Him, how can you have a close relationship with Him?

It's true that the Bible is a big book and some of the translations are difficult to read but there is help available!

First, choose a translation that you can easily understand.  Several are available so use www.biblegateway.com and read a few verses of each to see if you like it.  The NIV (New Internation Version), The Message (NavPress), and the NAS (New American Standard) are my favorites.

Next, you need a plan.  The Bible is too big to read without a plan.  There are many plans available.  You could check your local Christian bookstore or use a website like www.bibleplan.org which will allow you to sign-up for regular emails with your daily reading!

It's easy if you read a little every day!
